Subscriptions

Heartwood offers two auto-renewable yearly subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase: Heartwood Plus (50 GB of shared storage) and Heartwood Forever (1 TB of shared storage). "Forever" is the name of the 1 TB plan; it is a yearly subscription, not a one-time purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. There is no external purchase path.

Shared Storage

One active subscription covers the purchaser and their one currently paired partner: the shared box gets the plan's storage and original-quality photo and video storage. Nobody in a pair needs to pay twice.

If you go over your plan's storage, the box becomes read-only for new uploads until you free up space or upgrade. Viewing, export, deletion, and access to existing memories are never paywalled. If the pair ends, the partner who did not subscribe returns to the free plan.

User Content EULA

Heartwood is a private one-to-one space for two consenting adults (18+). You are responsible for the content you create, upload, send, report, or export.

Heartwood has zero tolerance for illegal, exploitative, harassing, hateful, threatening, non-consensual, or otherwise objectionable content or behavior, and for any content involving minors.

In-app report and block controls are available. Reports contain a reason and operational metadata; the server cannot decrypt vault content. Accounts that abuse Heartwood may be blocked, unpaired, suspended, or deleted. By using Heartwood you accept this EULA and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
